Hello! I am Emilie. That means many things nowadays-- Auntie, Sister, Daughter.
The things I like:
Tea. Books. Coffee. Friends. Music. Candles. Chocolate. Photographs. Hiking. Walks. Long drives. Loud jewelry.

Something you should know:
I have the unfortunate ability to carry on long monologues without needing any response. That's why I love blogging so much. I've also given up on apologizing for the randomness. It's innately me. I write bad poetry, take ordinary photographs, listen to plenty of music, and eat entirely too much chocolate.

Reasons why I am who I am: God. His word. His love. His saving grace. His providence. His sovereignty. His chastening.
The salvation He gave me. The family He blessed me with.

An eclectic blend of quotes from others, narratives of my own, pictures, and excerpts make up what I call a blog.
